In Creative Corner, poetry

Trying times?
Have you tried crying?
Have you cried trying?
Trying not to cry.

Do you sleep weeping?
Do you sleep?
Do you sweep weeping?
Are you sleep-sweeping?

Is he a thief?
Didn’t he steal your grief?
Or did God steal He who stole your heart?

Do you still wear the wedding band
Of a dead husband?
Do you steal remember your wedding band?
And the dance steps of a dead husband?

Trying times?
Have you cried trying?
Trying to say He’s not a thief?
Didn’t God steal He who stole your grief?

Did God try you?
Crying times.
