In Creative Corner, poetry

Mama said,
“Girls’ future is like eggs
One plays not with its diligence
Before it ends up broken.”

In her teenage,
life taught her, her greatest lesson,
the lesson of a child channeling problems into motherhood.

Mama’s tears,
told tales of how she conquered life’s challenges
to brighten her children’s worlds

Her words are like swords on the battles of life
which strike fear to heart failures

Mama is my world
With her, I can face anything and everything.
