In Creative Corner, poetry

You’ve heard what they say,
Be your brother’s keeper
How do you keep a brother,
When you first fail to see him as a brother?
Do you not know,
If you treat him as a brother, he will become one to you?
If this holds truth,
That is because you are, then he is,
Let each man by himself turn his inside out
And purge his bowels of this bile
That so ravages our sense of oneness
Then he’ll become
And we as a people will also become.
