In Creative Corner, poetry

Adrenaline glues my knees to the floor,
As you betray me one more time.
I do not fight it,
Instead, I take a trip down memory lane,
To our first date, under a beautiful red sunset,
And I, a beautiful girl,
In a beautiful red dress and beautiful red lipstick.
You gave me a beautiful red rose,
And told me I was perfect.
I guess, I should have roughly translated that to; red is your favourite color.
Because, why else,
Would the sight of my bleeding heart please you so much?
