In Creative Corner, poetry

The fruit is only devoured once the shell is gone
The shadow shall only be gone when light is cast.
We wish to see clear air,
But keep misting it with anger and despair.
A place we wish to call home but cannot
For great darkness
Has crept in the minds of our neighbors.

ARISE! Our land cries and calls
For the hands that held her dear
And near,
The present wails for loss of humanity,
But the future hopes for brightness
We can only archive this if we attach a heart,
Value and responsibility to one another.

The crown of triumph awaits
The drums of joy await our bones
We must restore the lost and,
We shall stop at nothing
Until we eat from the same plate
And quench from the same cup.
The sun will set but tomorrow we shall RISE again.
