In Creative Corner, poetry

Beat!
The air explodes in rhythmic spasms of melody
Crafting silence into music
Mould by mould awakening
This tapestry of profound emotion.

Beat!
The cadence possesses me
I douse myself in the euphony of this pounding
My skin, trembles to this rhythm
As every cell comes alive.

Beat!
My heart bludgeons upon its cage, like a sacred drum
Each fibre unfurling to this ethereal burst
Thrilling, weaving across my being
Like boughs of a willow tree, the beat lulls me to a sway.

Beat!
My soul buoyant
The electric vibrations embrace me
As I transcend above and beyond time itself.

Beat!
My sorrows find solace, buried stories unfold
As my untethered whim drives me to trance.

Beat!
My brows twitches, unprovoked
My head baubles to this mystic tune
My knees bend as the hips sway.

I dance handless under a fortress of the drums.
