In Creative Corner, poetry

Silent masks conceal
The fears we dare not reveal
In their depths, we sigh
Vulnerabilities
Etched upon fragile visages
Whispers in our eyes
But beneath our fears
Aspirations fiercely burn
Yearning for the sky
Resilience, our strength
Like a Phoenix rising strong
From ashes, we fly
In these faces, see
The stories of life’s battles
Wrought with poetry
Masks hide wrinkled face
Heart beats with quite a turmoil
Courage shines within
Faces concealed in battles
Silent warriors masking
And desperate pain
But with each face
They bring light to the air
Showing they care
In each uncovered face
They release what weighs them down
The fear, burden, resilience, and battles.
